- I am 26. I typically like to add people in the same age range to my list; I haven't got much in common with fourteen year olds.
- I spend most of my time working as an academic librarian (specifically, in technical services). I am very interested in emerging technologies, social networking, and the effects of gaming on education.
- I spend my evenings working on my second master's degree. My first is in Information Studies and my bachelor's is in English. I'm crossing my fingers for an online, affordable master's program in museum studies (with a natural history focus) to come along.
- In college, I became a brother of Alpha Phi Omega (Alpha Beta and Alpha Delta Eta), which is a co-ed service fraternity. I enjoy doing volunteer work and have worked closely with Helping Through Books and Music.
- I love: animals (as an almost-vegetarian), NPR, cannoli, Doctor Who, Stephen Colbert, purple, David Tennant/John Simm/John Barrowman, monkeys, Burberry, spicy ethnic food, Paul Dinello, Lush, basil, hiking, Alan Rickman, Coach, traveling, penguins, live music, Harry Potter, theatre, and Penn State football.
